Explore California's beautiful Pacific Coast while you drive along the ocean in a sightseeing coach on your way to the scenic town of Monterey. Your day will begin at your hotel, where an air-conditioned sightseeing vehicle will pick you up. You will begin your trip on California's Pacific Highway 1, which runs all along the Pacific Ocean. Look outside your window for incredible ocean and wildlife views along this iconic 17-mile stretch. On the drive, stop at world famous Pebble Beach Golf Course, a highlight of the PGA Tour and a golfing mecca. You will also visit Cannery Row on the Monterey Peninsula. Cannery Row was made famous in John Steinbeck's novel of the same name, and there are quaint shops for you to browse and restaurants for you to visit. You will stop in Monterey to venture through the area on your own. While in Monterey, you will also visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Tour the aquarium, one of the most incredible of its kind, with 623 separately named species of marine life on display. It holds thousands of marine plants and animals, and it benefits from its oceanside location by circulating the fresh ocean water throughout all the exhibits.
Next, you will continue along the Pacific Coast Highway until you reach Carmel to tour this small town also filled with plenty of shops and an incredible display of architecture. You will be given ample time to explore Carmel and all it has to offer.
Your California Pacific Coast tour will end by heading back to San Francisco in your coach vehicle. Stops will be made along the way on the coast for some unbelievable photo opportunities.

In that role, Mr. Miller was responsible for contributing to Abercrombie & Kent's international growth through the development and acquisition of tour products and travel experiences around the world with a specific focus on cruising and land based experiences. Prior to joining Abercrombie & Kent, Mr. Miller held a variety of executive positions with Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises for more than a decade. These positions included Vice President of Guest Sales & Service, Vice President of Brand Development, and Vice President of Onboard Revenue (which included shore excursions). Mr. Miller also led Celebrity Expeditions, a collection of outstanding and unique tours around the World.
Michael Bonner
Mr. Bonner has over a decade of experience working in the cruise industry in a variety of roles for both Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. and Viking River Cruises. Most recently, Mr. Bonner was the Chief Operating Officer for The Scholar Ship, a Royal Caribbean program aimed at providing college students onboard educational programs in conjunction with enriching shore excursions around the world. Mr. Bonner also helped co-manage Viking River Cruises U.S. Operations, and he ran the corporate, strategic, and deployment planning functions at Royal Caribbean. While at Royal Caribbean, Mr. Bonner was responsible for forming Royal Celebrity Tours, Royal Caribbean's land-based tour operation in Alaska, which takes cruise passengers on multiple day tours through the interior of Alaska either before or after their cruises.
